Electrical Supervisor / Quality Assurer

Internal / External Vacancy

CTC has a permanent position available in the Electrical Department and invites suitably qualified individuals to apply.

Minimum Requirements

  • Qualified Artisan in an Electrical or relevant Electrical trade
  • Accredited Facilitator, Assessor and Moderator
  • OD-ETDP Level 4 Qualification (Compulsory)
  • Management Certificate (Recommended)
  • Minimum 3 years’ post-trade experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience supervising or managing a training section
  • Experience coordinating Trade Tests and EISA assessments (advantageous)
  • Experience working with SETA, QCTO and NAMB compliance processes
  • Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee operational delivery of Electrical technical training programmes
  • Manage quality assurance, assessment, moderation and compliance processes
  • Ensure training aligns with accredited curricula, occupational standards and regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate Trade Tests and External Integrated Summative Assessments (EISA)
  • Conduct internal audits and maintain audit readiness
  • Analyse learner performance trends and implement corrective action plans
  • Supervise and support Training Officers to ensure high instructional standards
  • Implement performance management processes and provide structured feedback
  • Monitor learner attendance, documentation and portfolios of evidence
  • Ensure training equipment, workshops and facilities comply with health and safety standards
  • Support budget tracking, procurement alignment and departmental cost control
  • Represent the Training Centre in internal and external forums when delegated
  • Promote continuous improvement, operational efficiency and accreditation compliance
